HELLOOOO!

We had carnival at Damai today. There was loads more competition and the feeling we got was totally different from the Cresent Carnival. The top 4 schools there were Damai, Nan Hua, TKSS and SCGS! So for the first grouping, we got Canberra Sec and Damai. First game was not up to standard. To make it worst it was drizzling and the floor was wet and slippery. However, we THRASHED Canberra!! WOOHOO! Next, Damai game. Started off with a totally different combination.

It was super sucky during the Damai game. The attacking side was pretty weak. The moves inside the circle were damndamndamn bad. We were moving but we weren't thinking. THE SHOTS WERE SUPER BAD. Well at least my shots were. Sandy's far shots were GOOD. I realised that im panicky on court when i have to shoot and i pressurize myself too much when the shots aren't going in. So that's really bad, need to relax and BREATHE. Sarah played really well. She intercepted quite a few and she's very daring. She tries to intercept every ball eventhough she might go offside. She intercepted a high ball from the GA who was one head taller than her. Oh and she almost fell trying to block her player. The defence played well they overturned alot but the shots just didn't go in very much. Michelle tapped a few and she was FLYING. HAHA. OH Joanna was damn brave. She went out of the circle and tapped quite alot. EUNICE JUMPED! what a miracle. HAHA just kidding. In the end, we won them despite the sucky shots.

Yay! so next round, we're in the best group with the top schools. and mann were they good. It was a challenge but i think the team played really well. The first game was against Nan Hua. We kept the new combination and improved. The attacking side played better, Zahirah was more confident and provided options. Sandy and i were more aware of where to run. Sandy's far shots were good but i didnt wanna shoot much because i wasn't that confident so i kept passing and passing but i took most of the penalties.
Defence was really good but contacted quite alot. So playplayplay and we drew with them 6-6. It was good play cos the scores were close and we were fighting for the ball alot.

Last game against TKSS. Mr Teh kept quiet the whole way through cos he wanted us to think on our own and see how we react to our mistakes. I think we played really well cos we were doing what we were supposed to do and we talked to each other more. TKSS speed was fast and they had two p6's on their teams who were both taller the Eunice:GS and GK. It was challenging but we got through it. Eunice jumped alot and like really high. So that was cool. Mr Teh wasn't planning on winning them but more of watching us think on our own. So in the end we lost to them by only ONE. So i think that shows that we're INTELLIGENT GIRLS. HAHA. We weren't really sad that we loss cos another goal was achieved. So yeah. Overall, we got third placing which was not bad.
